QUEZON CITY, Philippines – The newest and hottest boy band in town, VFort is soon to set the stage afire via a launch concert titled ‘Love Song Syndrome (LSS)’ on May 12, 8pm at the Metro Bar. Visam Calimlim, Kerwin Caballero, Brian Galicia, Kristoff Guela and Miguel Lago are the young talented males that Vivre Fort Entertainment gathered together to come up with a local group that would give foreign boy bands a run for their money.
VFort will be singing their first original song titled ‘Sweetheart’ in a vibrant, heartfelt and delectable way. The song was composed by Jeff Cifra, the band’s vocal coach.
They will be joined by their special guests Driven Acoustic and Nyoy Volante. Part of the concert’s proceeds will be donated to Senyas Kamay Pilipinas, a non-profit organization that empowers individuals who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing to reach their full potential in society. Through this effort, it seeks to provide scholarships and complete set of school supplies to deaf students from various public schools in the coming school opening.
The group recently did a front act for Side A’s ‘Just Wanna be with You’ concert in March that also featured Nina at Metrobar. Also, VFort was initially introduced to the viewing public via an event titled ‘100Bachelors’ in September 2010.
