MANILA, Philippines - Just a week after its release, the official theatrical trailer for the ‘Bourne Legacy’ film, which featured the scenes that were shot in Manila, Philippines, it already amassed almost 1.4M hits on YouTube.
The said trailer included the enthralling motorcycle chase along Manila roads, jeepneys and local taxi cabs in collision, and Bourne Legacy lead star Jeremy Renner in a combat with Filipino police and security guards. The lead star could also be seen running atop adjacent houses in Manila.
The latest trailer shows some scenes that were shot in the Philippines.
After the trailer’s release, netizen immediately bombarded social networks sharing the YouTube link and went gaga about the most-touted film. The Bourne Legacy trailer that was shared online, it rapidly went viral on Facebook and trended on Twitter.
This fourth installment of the ‘Bourne’ series is an action spy film based on Robert Ludlum's Jason Bourne novels. The movie entails the life of Aaron Cross (Jeremy Renner), an agent of Operation Outcome, which the CIA is planning to shut down, which includes Marta (Weisz) to be assassinated.
The Bourne Legacy, also stars Edward Norton, Donna Murphy, Joan Allen, Oscar Isaac, Albert Finney, Scott Glenn, David Strathairn, Michael Chernus, Stacy Keach, Corey Stoll, Sheena Colette, Dennis Boutsikaris, and more. The film is slated to premiere on August 3 and directed by Tony Gilroy.
