2012 marks the  company’s 45 years since Repertory Philippines staged its first play, ‘Miss  Julie’ in 1967. The company has gone a long way since those days when there  were only seven people in their audience (three of which were paying customers).  They had to beg, borrow, and sneak most of what was needed for the productions  in their struggle to become a professional theatre company.

The company’s passion  and hard work has paid off as Repertory Philippines, considered to be the  country’s premier English-speaking theater group that produced memorable and  successful productions with acting talents that this country can be proud of, the  likes of  Lea Salonga, Monique Wilson,  Pinky Amador and more; continuing the legacy that Ms. Zenaida ‘Bibot’ Amador  and Ms. Baby Barredo started.
